What I'm Making: Thanksgiving Dinner
It's been a quiet week for blogging.. To catch you all up, I've been watching parodies of the wrecking ball video I featured in a weird context last week, and prepping for Thanksgiving dinner.
For those who do not know, I have a pretty gigantic family. I'm one of eight collective children between my four parents, and once you add spouses and friends to the mix, you've got a big meal to prepare.
This year, I opted to simplify the menu and start it all earlier. I am fitting 21 people into my 720 square foot house, so I had to make some executive decisions. With two pregnant guests, that may have been a bit bold. In a few days, I'll be able to let you know how that all worked out. If I survive their pregnancy cravings wrath.
In the meantime, since I can't quite share my lessons learned, I can share my menu plans! At least the basics of it. Anything that gets significantly tweaked from the recipes linked will be blogged about, I assure you! If you don't see a link, that means I am winging it. Hopefully I will leave time to take photos and write down my tricks before the whole thing is being cleaned up again...
Happy Thanksgiving, friends! I'll see you after the long weekend.
