Fairy Tale Princess Party

Kid-Friendly Fairy Tale Princess Party by Creative Clementine

Happy Monday! The blog experienced a short "outage" last week for unknown reasons, but we're back! I am taking steps to prevent it from happening again. Onwards and upwards.

A couple years ago, I had the pleasure of helping a friend with a fairy princess party for her little girl. It was a fun-filled day with just the right amount of fancy..and food. Always food!

The little princess requested pink and purple galore--and we delivered. Since I tend to lean towards healthier snacks, the desserts included a mixed berry jello parfait, fruit sword skewers (fairy tales need swords, right?) and simple chocolate drizzled marshmallows to appease the more dramatic sweet tooth. The cupcakes were vanilla with a delicate blackberry buttercream icing--all naturally flavoured, and no food colouring!

I am in love with how purple I was able to make the icing without food colouring. Blackberries are amazing.

The kids spent the day making crowns, playing dress up, and blowing bubbles. There's something so magical about bubbles!

The make-your-own-crown craft station was set up with enough gems, glitter, and markers to decorate a kingdom. Even the gold cutlery was glammed out with purple gems, for when the "real food" came out.

I had a blast helping to make this little girl's fourth birthday dreams come true! Thanks for stopping by.
